Babes for Breasts

It starts in a few hours...

At 1am - Monday October 1st I am entered into an online singing contest, for which the ultimate goal is to raise money for breast cancer research.

There are small incentives to the winner who will receive a $500 shopping spree and the opportunity to play at the 'Babes for Breasts' benefit concert with several other accomplished local women musicians.  But truly, the best incentive, and the reason I chose to participate is because with every vote cast, sponsors will donate $5 towards the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.

These days, we all know someone dear to us who has had cancer or are still fighting cancer in their daily lives.  Just this week, I heard of a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer.. this time last year my younger brother Isaac heard the news that changed his life forever when he was diagnosed with Leukaemia.  Life happens as they say, but heres an opportunity to feel slightly less helpless.
Please please click here to view my submission and cast your votes all this week!  Each time you do, you'll be raising funds!  Have a look at the official website for more event details www.babesforbreasts.com,  and if you have anyone you can spread the word to, please forward on and on and on :)

Also, a huge thank you to Chris Parker who came by the studio and had us shut down all the hot shop equipment to make for a sweet recording spot.  I nearly caught on fire with that furnace door pouring out behind me, but it certainly made for an inviting backdrop :)

thanks again everyone
